Work Record - Shoot 5

Shoot 5
Unknown Identity
For the fifth shoot I decided to take inspiration from an image in my research log labeled: The Unknown Identity. I believe this image is very powerful in terms of identity for many reasons. These images hide the identity of the actual person within the picture but still keeps identity and personality within the image with the use of movement and clothing.

Improvements
I don't think I can improve the way I compose and take images as the previous four shoots have helped me perfect my methods of photography. I will continue take images as I have done in shoot four as that was my best photoshoot in my opinion. Despite this, I will alter the shutter speed to 3 seconds so that I have enough time to move around in shot to get a blurred affect.

Editing

This first image is showing me with my hands on my head. This particular pose could show a frustration of some kind. Possibly a frustration with finding who they are.
The second image shows the same character portrayed but the pose is changed. Instead of moving my arms left to right, I moved my head only side to side so that multiple heads were shown within the picture. The character in the image looks like they are in pain.
The third and final image represents a different character. The clothing and accessories used are possessions that a stereotypical celebrity would have. I was portraying a celebrity character and using the blurred effect to show a frustration that this character may have.

All of the image above were not edited in any way. I felt like if I tampered with the image, the character being portrayed would be changed and not shown as they are in front of the lens.

If I was to edit these images I would edit them so that they have a small, simple piece of text on them saying "The Unknown Idenity" to replicate the inspired image.

Progression
I felt like by experimenting with the camera settings I have found more photography techniques to experiment with and that may come in handy in future projects. The experimentation of camera settings and techniques has made my project a bit more diverse in content and also adds more connotations to my images.
