Mind Maps

Self-Identity

This first mind map is based around the 3rd Question which is Self-Identity. I have typed up a large range of things that I could photograph that comes under the subject matter of self-identity. These ideas have been based around a self-identity photographer known as Chantal Michel. By looking at the images I have identified the denotations and written some basic ideas based on these denotations.

Everyday Activities

This second mind map shows ideas based around question 1: Everyday Activities. Similarly to the first mind map, I have based some of the ideas around a photographer who focuses on Everyday Activities within their work: This photographer is Richard Billingham. I have also denoted some of his images and based a few of my ideas around these denotations. There are significantly less ideas than the previous mind map.

Both of the mind maps hold achievable ideas and can be easily taken and/or edited. However, after creating two mind maps and after looking over all of the ideas on these mind maps, I have decided to chose to continue with the Self-Identity project. This is primarily because I thought of a lot more ideas surrounding this subject. It is also because that I can relate to the subject matter easier and am more knowledgable on the subject without doing research. This is also the question that initially caught my eye so I have decided to stick with question 3.
