Some photographers have used their own image to express ideas about their identity or to document an aspect of their lives. The work can often be reflective and engaging. Examples can be seen in the narrative images of Vivian Maier, in the surreal work of Herbert Bayer and in the constructed images of Chantal Michel. Research appropriate examples and respond in your own way.
